PMA Melbourne 2010

OK, so I went to PMA melbourne 2010, got to play with some new toys

Nikon 14-24mm
* Loved it.
* Fast AF
* Would I buy ? Yes. (If I could afford it)
* Would I recommend to others ? Yes.

Nikon 80-400
* Great lens
* Fast
* Good image quality.
* Can live without it.
* Would I buy ? No
* Would I recommend to others ? Yes

Nikon 105 Macro VR
* Great Lens
* Fast AF (much faster than my Tamron 90mm macro)
* Not sure if I got as close as I wanted.
* Would make a great portrait lens.
* Would I buy ? Yes.
* Would I recommend ? Yes.

Tamron 70-200 f2.8
* Painfully slow AF.
* Amazingly sharp images.
* Would I buy ? No.
* Would I recommend to others ? No.

Tamron 28-300mm 3.5-6.3 OS
* Sharp
* AF was a little slow, and I had issues tracking movement.
* OS (VR) was good, shot at 300mm 1/50 hand held, no problems.
* Would I buy ? No
* Would I recommend to others ? Yes
